Grostè peak’s Sella
A panoramic ski mountaineering itinerary, reserved for good skiers; it reaches the Grostè peak’s Sella and then descends first along an aesthetic Dolomite rill and then through a long off-piste descent in the woods into Brenta valley.

- Service and guidance of a certified mountain guide for the whole duration of the experience
- In-depth study of skiing techniques, both uphill and downhill, depending on the snow conditions
- Training in the use of avalanche rescue equipment (ARTVA) and in snow conditions

Meeting at 8.30 a.m. at the start of the Grostè cablecar, briefing and equipment check for participants.
Ascent by cablecar to the Stoppani refuge (Grostè pass).
After having put on our mountaineering skis we will ascend in a south-easterly direction to reach the base of the northern channel of the Grostè peak. which we will face first with steep inversions and then on foot to reach the saddle of Grostè peak. From this point the spectacular descent begins, first on the south side and then in the steep and aesthetic channel of the Campaniletto dei Camosci. Once we reach the Vallesinella Superiore glacier, skiing in an incomparable landscape, we will descend to the Vallesinella Alta’s mountain hut, Vallesinella Bassa and until we reach Brenta valley. From Brenta valley we will return to Madonna di Campiglio by taxi.
An alternative to the climb from the north side is the one from the east side, even more panoramic.
