A little bit of history

It was the 24th October 1911 when the lieutenancy of Tyrol and Vorarlberg agreed to the constitution of the society “Soccorso” (Rescue) founded by a group of Alpine Guides from Madonna di Campiglio, with the following objective: “Help with sickness or accident benefits; maintaining and increasing the collective spirit, order and harmony between the Guides; promotion of further training for them and so better the service”. So it was like this that over 100 years ago an association for Guides and bearers was born, organised for, and aimed at, improving the services offered to the rich clients who in those days frequented the stupendous location, anxious to discover the beauties of nature and be first to climb the surrounding peaks.

Over the years the Alpine Guides have evolved to become well prepared professionals, both in technical and natural aspects, able to accompany you on your discovery of even the most secluded places in complete safety. Going up into the mountains, at all heights and for all levels, during the various seasons is the best way to experience intense emotions, savouring, in the silence of huge open spaces, the exciting natural beauty. With your Alpine Guide beside you, the mountain becomes your friend and the excursion or the ascent becomes an experience rich with emotion. The reliability and professionality of your Guide will transfer to you the values of the mountains, ensuring you have you an enjoyable experience in complete safety.
